The Week. (Starring Christian)

Since obviously the best part of my week was when I peed with the door open and got to see Christian moonwalk by, everything else will seem boring. But here goes anyway!

Christian brought home some white plates and trays and a couple of oil paint pens and commanded me to draw on them. It took me a week or so, but I did it, it was fun and easy, and I want everyone reading this to go buy a white mug or platter or something, a black oil paint Sharpie, and get to work making someone a present.

Buy them on Amazon: Mugs and Sharpie - place your drawn-on piece in a cold oven, heat it up to 350 degrees Fahrenheit, let it sit in there for 30 minutes, then turn the oven off and let it cool in there.

Christian and I were talking about how dark, dramatic photography can be so stunning, so C did some test shooting, and LOOK:

Isn’t this so Caravaggio?

Finally, this is what happens when dads get involved in kids’ violin practice.

Have a great weekend, my smelly little friends, and thanks to those of you who talked me down on Facebook during my moment of classic mom second-guessing:

It’s so funny, Fen’s orchestra teacher spied the print out of Kashmir at practice yesterday, grabbed it from Fen and played the whole thing for everyone.
